Today was the last day of Korean International Art Fair (KIAF), which remarks 10th anniversary. It has grown into one of Asia's leading art fair. This year it presented 192 galleries, 17 of them is Australian - this is country-guest of honor of this year. Totally there's 17 countries participating, includes Germany, China, Japan, USA, UK, Russia and, for sure, Korea.
This days KIAF is one of the biggest art events of the year in Korea and great opportuniry to see the situation at the world art market.
The usual venue of KIAF is COEX at Samsong station, the largest shopping mall in Seoul.

Another star was Lee Ufan, Korean artist, who works now in Japan. He's interested in philosophy, and he tries to express eastern concept of "beauty of the emptiness" in his oeuvre. This days he is one of the most expencive Korean artists. Works on the picture are owned by one of German galleries.
Works of Lee Yung-baek, who presented Korea at the Venice Biennale this year.Some works of famous korean artists: Nam Jun Paik, Kim Chang Yeol, Kang Ik Joon.
Ben Quilty is a young Australian artist. His works about difficult process of man becaming an adult were sold out the first day of KIAF.
And some works that I just liked. Lee Soo-Dong, Jan Voss, "apple-hyperrealism" of Yoon Byung Rock.
